Cronan Ranch - November 2023

return to mdimage index

On a Thursday in early November eleven of us took a walk at Cronan Ranch. We went up the West Ridge Trail, heading south and then diverted to the Central trail as it heads downhill to the South Fork of the American River, where we stopped for lunch.  Our return walk was on the Central or Long Valley Trail.

It is another dry November here but a little fresh green grass was seen in spots, due to a quick half inch of rain two weeks ago.

note - This was my second time here & I again enjoyed the open space aspects of this park, as the last photo shows.

An overcast sky washed out the coloration a little, which I tried to correct for.

It was a short drive to the trailhead today, from our carpool meeting place in Roseville, and I was home by later afternoon.
